LUGANSK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY - "APPLY NOW"

In June 2003, at the initiative of the Rector of the University Professor VG Koveshnikova efforts of teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Humanities was established museum "Friendship of nations" as a center of information on the University for Foreign Students. This event was devoted to 20th anniversary of the first issue of foreign students of our university.

Many museum exhibits tell about the country from which came our students and provides information on the number of foreign students klinordynatoriv for 20 years. Among the exhibits presented bright traditional clothing, women's jewelry, household items, souvenirs and sacred objects from around the world. The most interesting exhibits is a display devoted to the culture and life of Nigeria, Ghana, Yemen, Syria, Jordan.

We maintain relationships with our alumni and engage them to replenish the museum exhibits.

The department began a tradition every year to begin work the first year of visiting the museum "Friendship of nations" where they receive information about our university, its potential and international status. The museum has acquired a certain reputation, it actively attend not only to employees of departments of our university, but also staff and students from other schools of the city and region.

Traditionally, museum officials visited the countries from which our international students enrolled and participating in scientific conferences and seminars conducted at our university.

Officials who visited the museum: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Nigeria in Ukraine Ibrahim drop-Kasai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ghana Seth Koranteng, Albert SA Kitcher Chairman Society of Ghana in Ukraine, Secretary of the Embassy of Ghana Baaba Ethers Williams.

In accumulation funds of the museum was attended by prof. Koveshnikov VG Sci. Simrok VV, prof.Pustovoy VG Sci. Demenkov VV, exposition is constantly replenished and updated. This also contributes to the current dean of foreign students Assoc. Toropchyn VI

Museum of "Friendship of Peoples" is listed in the register of museums Lugansk region.
